My goals as a teacher are to provide a solid musical foundation so one can eventually become a creative musician.
My lessons are designed to suit the needs and goals of each individual player, with a focus on fundamentals, jazz improvisation, classical performance, and introductory music theory, all of which will be needed to apply to any style of music; classical, smooth jazz, R&B, Blues, Rock, etc…
I have had students from age 7 to 70. Music can stir the soul no matter what age.
I teach beginner flute, clarinet and trumpet and beginner to advanced saxophone.
I'm available to teach every day except Sundays. I teach in my home studio in Katy, I also have a studio at Rockin' Robin Music Lessons (9029 Highway 6 #160 Missouri City, TX 77459 in the Fort Bend Independent School District, the number to the facility is
(281) 778-2378) and I teach at several schools as well. Lessons are $20.00 per half hour. If I travel to teach (within a reasonable distance) the fee is 25.00 per half hour. For most people one half hour lesson a week is plenty. For my home studio or at your school payment can be made by cash, check or credit card via pay pal (just push the PayPal button below), at Rockin' Robin payment arrangements are made at the facility.
